The course aims to train students to become Kinesiologists in Preventive and Adapted Physical Activity, experts in the planning and subsequent monitoring of appropriate physical activity protocols aimed at maintaining or restoring psycho-physical well-being, including support for individuals with chronic non-communicable diseases, working (when necessary) in conjunction with the National Health Service.
Graduates in Sports Sciences for Prevention and Wellness will be able to take on positions of responsibility within organizations that carry out physical activity programs, including adapted programs and sports for recreational, educational, or welfare purposes aimed at restoring psycho-physical efficiency or promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The degree also allows access to competitions for teaching positions in schools.

There is no other training program that allows students to acquire such knowledge and skills. In addition, for the 2025/2026 academic year, it will be possible to pursue a joint program (Double Degree) between the Master’s Degree in “Activité Physique Adaptée et Santé,” offered by the “Faculté des sports et de l’éducation physique” of the Université d’Artois (France), and the Master’s Degree Course in “Sports Sciences for Prevention and Wellbeing,” offered by the Department of Medical, Sports and Wellbeing Sciences (DiSMeB) of the Parthenope University. This programme is designed to provide advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas:
Both theoretical teaching and technical-practical activities are constantly updated in line with progress in the relevant fields of study. Learning is facilitated through practical simulations of physical activity programmes in different contexts. The achievement of the expected results is assessed through written tests or self-assessment carried out during the course and/or oral tests at the end of the course. At the end of the course, students are required to write a thesis, which may be experimental, based on bibliographic research using databases and digital search engines related to the field of interest.
Graduates will have acquired adequate knowledge to design, conduct and evaluate physical activity programmes tailored to different categories of individuals, independently or in collaboration with other professionals.
The training programme includes simulations and exercises aimed at enabling students to acquire autonomy in the development and implementation of physical activity programmes in different contexts. Students also carry out internships in order to develop their ability to interact with the world of work and with different professionals.

Admission requirements
Admission is subject to passing a written entrance examination (selection process) designed to assess prior knowledge of biomedical, psycho-pedagogical sports subjects acquired during the three-year degree course, as well as the management, practice and evaluation of individual and/or group sports activities. The admission exam also aims to assess knowledge of the English language through the completion of 10 specific questions out of the 60 in the test. The number of students enrolled for each academic year is subject to the sustainability of the course which, in accordance with current regulations, is 80 students.
