The program aims to form highly qualified professional ship officers for merchant vessels as well as inspection personnel, with theoretical and practical skills in the fields of navigation, naval engineering and mechanical engineering.
Thanks to the skills gained in the field of maritime navigation graduates in Ship Management, can be employed in roles involving operational and technical-managerial responsibility on board ships as well as in technical offices of shipping companies.
This is a course aimed at forming highly qualified professionals able to meet the standards of competence defined by national and international regulations for the training of merchant vessel officers and inspectors. The course is divided into two professional paths, “Deck” and “Machine”, and graduates will gain both the scientific basis of the subjects as well as the ability to use the techniques, systems and on-board devices, helping them to access the national and international ship-owning context. In the third year students will also have the opportunity to complete acurricular internship on board merchant ships.
