The SEA-Eu Staff Week hosted by University “Parthenope” on “Food & Event Management” and “Sustainable Finance” started today at Palazzo Pacanowski, in the framework of the SEA-EU Alliance – European University of the Seas, promoted for our University by the Pro-rector for internationalization prof. Vito Pascazio, the Delegate for SEA-EU activities prof. Gabriele Sampagnaro, Dr Marialaura Eliani part of the International Office and Dr Giovanna Apice for the International Research Projects Office, assisted by the SEA-EU Office team.
Activities will last until 14th February involving representatives from the Alliance partner universities coming from different European countries: University of Gdansk, University of Malta, University of Split, University of Kiel, and University of Algarve. During these three days, the non-teaching group, will learn about”Food & Event Management”, thanks to the contribution of Prof. Rocco Agrifoglio, who will be focusing on the history of food and its influence on the local economy also through team building activities, debates and practical experiences. The teaching group will learn about “Sustainable Finance” focusing on the themes of sustainable finance, its constant and rapid evolution and the challenges it poses to contemporary society. Thanks to the contribution of the University teaching staff, coordinated by Prof. Sampagnaro, a reflection will be launched on how finance and sustainability can and must coexist.
