The Master’s Degree in in Information Technologies Engineering for Communications and Health (ITECH) provides the students with multidisciplinary scientific education, combining theoretical and methodological aspects with a broad knowledge of information technologies and systems applied to communications and health.
The program defines a professional profile with cross-disciplinary skills, capable of effectively responding to the transformations of the information society.
The Master offers two curricula:
Graduates ITECH-Communications curriculum can find employment in Italy or abroad in companies that design, develop, or manufacture electronic equipment, services, and technologies for information processing and transmission in a variety of application fields (f.i. telecommunications, IT services, cybersecurity, home automation and IoT, aerospace, automotive, etc.).
Graduates in ITECH-Health curriculum can find employment in Italy and abroad in both public and private companies that supply equipment and services in the healthcare and biomedical fields, including software (e.g., programs for the analysis and visualization of clinical images and for medical diagnostics, database management, telemedicine) and hardware (e.g., design or management of medical equipment and systems).
The Master degree program aims to provide students with multidisciplinary scientific training that combines theoretical and methodological aspects with extensive knowledge of information technologies and systems applied to communications and health.
The “Communications” track aims to create professionals with a solid knowledge of the theoretical aspects and main methodologies and techniques of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), capable of implementing complex processes and innovative application solutions in highly dynamic fields such as smart communities.
The “Health” track of the degree program trains versatile engineers with in-depth knowledge in the biomedical field, such as biological signals, clinical aspects, diagnostic instrumentation and systems for the acquisition and processing of brain signals (neuroscience).
Course Duration: 2 years
Number of Exams: 12
Credits: 120
Admission: Open
Double Degree: No
Class Membership: LM-27
