The program provides analytical and management skills in the diverse fields of biology, ecology and its applications, with a special focus on environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation. Graduates are experts in environmental risk assessment and quality certification of production processes.
Graduates will be able to be employed as Biologists, Researchers and Technicians in biological sciences, with expertise in monitoring and environmental management and conservation of biodiversity, according to the latest criteria of sustainability.
Students will gain advanced knowledge and tools that will enable them to deepen their understanding of the issues related to the study, control and management of biological processes, with particular reference to aspects associated with environmental sustainability. The course will also provide students with a solid cultural base of the different aspects of biology, ecology and its applications. Graduates will also master the scientific method of investigation that will enable them to work with wide organizational autonomy. The program has a strong focus on environmental issues and sustainable development.
