This highly professional course aims to train merchant ship officers and inspection personnel, providing them with theoretical and practical skills in the fields of navigation, naval engineering and mechanical engineering.
Graduates in Ship Management, thanks to the skills acquired in the field of maritime navigation, can take on roles of operational and technical-managerial responsibility on board ships and in the technical offices of shipping companies.
The professional degree course is a training programme that meets the standards of competence defined by national and international regulations for the training of merchant ship officers and inspection personnel. The course, divided into two specialisations, ‘Deck’ and “Engine”, provides graduates with both the scientific foundations of the disciplines studied and the skills to use the techniques, systems and equipment on board, facilitating the integration of graduates into the national and international shipping industry thanks to curricular internships to be carried out on board merchant ships throughout the third year of the training programme.
