In a globally interconnected world, the bachelor’s degree in International Business Management trains people capable of managing the challenges posed to firms and territories by international trade and competition.
Students achieving a bachelor’s degree in International Business Management tend to become professionals and managers who take up positions in companies operating in international markets, in various areas (accounting, finance, commercial channels, marketing, organisation and human resources), as well as in business and policy consulting for internationalisation
The bachelor’s degree in International Business Management provides students with the necessary knowledge in business economics (accounting, management, finance), general economics (microeconomics, international economics), mathematics and business statistics, law (private law, public and EU law, business law), languages (English, French) and informatic skills in first- and second-year classes. During the third year, students specialise as junior managers (classes in Italian) or international consultants (classes in Italian or in English).
Students are encouraged and supported to do stages and internships in firms and organisations during their third year, to enhance their learning by doing within work environments.
Double degree agreements have been signed with Le Mans Université, France (teaching language: French) and Gdansk University, Poland (teaching language: English).
Language requirements: 1st and 2nd year lectures are held in Italian. Hence, Italian language skills (B2) are mandatory for enrolling by international students. Thanks to the course structure students will gain post-secondary level knowledge in the field of economic analysis. The lectures that revolve around the basic and characterizing subjects provide students with the core understanding of how international companies operate, how they are organized, how they report and communicate their results, how the company’s economic units relate to other economic ones within the international system, and the legal foundations that define the context in which international companies operate and develop.
