The program trains experts in the organization and management of motor and sports activities, in the economic, legal and sociological fields with a particular focus on physical preparation and training in public and private organizations, also in relation to the new educational and structural emergencies.
Graduates in Science and Management of Sport and Motor Activities can find employment in schools, associations, gyms or sports federations, as experts in the organization and management of motor and sports activities. They can also hold positions of responsibility within structures or companies operating in the field of sports activities and in the field of communication.

At the end of the program, graduates will have the ability to:
– understand the model of sports performance, the technical-tactical training strategies and physical preparation, the methodologies for conducting and managing motor and sports activities, the strategies and tools for monitoring the training process and functional evaluation of the athlete;
– understand the functions of the human body and the mechanisms of adaptation in response to the practice of various sports activities, both at a competitive and non-competitive level;
– understand the fundamental elements of the theory, history and regulation of sport and motor activities;
– understand how the economic system and the productive units operate in the sport sector and other areas connected to it;
– Gain the principles of economics and business management as well as the main legal foundations of enterprises at a domestic and comparative level, including business contracts;
– have knowledge of the bodies and institutions that shape the sports system, the functioning of sports jurisdiction and sports work;
– Be aware of the hygienic-sanitary elements for the management and implementation of sports facilities and safety in the workplace;
– Know the psychological, social, educational, technical and organizational aspects of all leisure activities associated with motor and sports at a recreational level in different age groups, as well as the organization of work and training;
– Know the main features of work organization and human resources management;
– Have the necessary linguistic elements for a proper written and oral communication associated with the sector;
– possess methodological and technical tools connected with the information and communication technologies (public affairs, crisis management, digital economy, etc.) also within complex organizations.
